The purpose of our trip was to see our favorite YouTubers (geeking out just a bit), Jess + Gabriel... but more on that later. We also spent time exploring the city and so I wanted to share with you some of the highlights!
First we went to the Lawn on D. One of my favorite things about Boston, compared to other cities, is that it is full of greenery. There are so many parks and grassy areas to hang out and relax. The Lawn on D is one of them.
I wanted to see the harbor so we headed over to the water, near Quincy Market and enjoyed the view.
Shoutout to my awesome sister for being my personal photographer for the day.
We stopped to take some photos at the Christopher Columbus Waterfront Park. Here, there is a beautiful archway abundant in flowers and green shrubbery.
If you know me well enough, you know I can't go anywhere without finding a cute coffee shop! So we stopped at my favorite in Boston, Tatte Bakery & Café. They have multiple locations in Boston but we went to Beacon Street because it has the cutest aesthetic, in my opinion. The line was well out the door when we got there, but it was well worth it! There was also the cutest little flower stand outside the café.

Next, we went to Cambridge Mass to see Jess + Gabriel. If you're not familiar with them, they are two YouTube vloggers with an incredible God-given story of love, patience, and commitment. When I found Jess while I was scrolling through Instagram one day last year, I was very moved by her story and her commitment to the Lord. I'll just say that it was a beautiful moment to be able to tell these two how what they are doing matters and that their love for God and for each other, made a difference in my walk with God.
wow, sounds like a wonderful weekend! and that bakery...i need to get there for sure

DeleteI'm from Boston - it is so fun to see your travels through tourist eyes :) My husband's band plays at Lawn on D regularly. Have you walked the freedom trail yet, or explored the North End? (SO much good Italian food there! :) )
ReplyDeletehaha I felt like such a tourist! I did the freedom trail in middle school for a field trip! Ah what kind of music does he play? What are your favorite places to eat on the North End?! I don't think I've been there!
